Stomach sleeping is ok at 7 months old right?

She is just freaking me out. She keeps rolling onto her stomach to sleep.
I know it's supposed to be ok at this age since she can move herself around, but I can't help but stare at the monitor and go in there constantly to check on her.

Talk me down please!

Honestly, she will be fine and she will probably sleep better. Just let her be. she has great head control and will move herself if she needs to. She will be fine and so will you

I was in there 3 times earlier trying to put her on her side and she'd just roll right back to the stomach.
I guess she is telling me - I'm fine mom, leave me ALONE!!

ITS OK!! My DD discovered she can roll onto her stomach at 5 months old and now its her favorite position!!

I watch her from afar and she lifts her head and turns it. Im sure your DD does the same

Now stop watching the monitor and go to sleep

My boys are almost 7 mths old and have been on their tummy for a month now and if anything, they sleep so much btr!

They start on their back and boom, right to their belly.

Shes fine!

Don't stress it!

I did and for peace of mind, I got the angel care monitor b/c DD slept on her belly ALL the time early on (if I was on my comp I'd post a pic of how she sleeps). I got it for her at 3 months and still use it now at 18 months LOL

The monitor has a sensor that goes under the mattress and will go off if it doesn't detect motion for 20 seconds

But really, at 7 months, don't stress it!

My DS didn't STTN after breaking the swaddle...until he started sleeping on his tummy. Now, we get 11 hours from him.

I'm leaving him alone.

My youngest was on his belly at 2 weeks and I watched that monitor for a few nights. But all was fine and he slept so well...still does.

At 4.5 months DD started rolling onto her belly.. she never looked back when it came to sleep ...

DS was sleeping on his belly at like 6 weeks. He wouldnt sleep any other way. at first DH and i literally slept in shifts to watch him. once we knew he was fine, we were better with it. and DS had very good head and neck strength early on which made it better.

at 7mo, she's fine

the first 2 weeks are the worst. Once they learn to turn their heads to the side and not smoosh their face into the mattress you will feel better.

Yea don't worry about it. DD is 8 months and always sleeps on her stomach. She can roll over if she needs to.

yes! ds just started belly sleeping at 7.5-8 months once he really became mobile

As an update- she slept better last night then she ever has in her 7 months on this earth!
She only woke up once- and that was at 5 am! So 7 pm to 5 am- then back down for another hour.
I'll take it!
