stork bites?
My son has 2 stork bites a lighter one on his forhead, sometimes it's not even noticeable but when he fusses or cries it looks like he rubbed his forhead and nose onto something. and a dark red one on the base of his hairline on the back of his neck. when did they fade for your child? did they fade completely?

Re: stork bites?
I'd say by a year, DSs were gone. he had one above his nose on forehead.

Re: stork bites?
My son has on on the back of his head near his neck. It was fairly large when he was a newborn/infant. At 2, it is still there, but is smaller and his hair covers most of it.. 3 of my cousins have one on their forehead.. they are now 18, 25, and 49 and the only time you can see it is when they cry... They all disappeared when they were toddlers..

Re: stork bites?
I think it's so interesting that many babies get them at the base of the hairline at back of neck. wonder why it's so common there?

Re: stork bites?
Dd #2 had them on the back of her neck. She is just about 20 months and they are gone. I feel like they've been gone for at least 6 months or so.

Re: stork bites?
my DD is 6m and still has hers at the base of her neck/hairline. some people in my family commented that it ran on my grandfathers side, but even my mom had no idea what they were talking about.
