Strep B Positive with one pregnancy and not the other?
Hi,
So I tested positive for Strep B during my last pregnancy and the doc said I would probably have the same result with this one but the results are in and I tested negative which I am happy about but just wondering if this happened to anyone else?

Yes, this happened to me. I was positive for Group B strep with my first and was sure I would be for my second but I tested negative.

Test neg. with my first and pos. this time around  They gave me antibiotics after the 1st test around 12 weeks but I dont even think I finished them  It's not a concern until labor and they administer antibiotics at delivery so no biggie.

I was actually negative and then positive with the same pregnancy, so I'm sure it can happen with different pregnancies too

I was positive w/ the 1st & then b/c I was delivering via CS they never even tested me the 2nd time, they said they just assume I'm positive.
