Stupid clothing size question
Are the 0-3 month clothes supposed to fit until 3 months, or THROUGH the 3rd month.
I know it depends on the baby and all...just wanted to know how they are meant to be sized.

It will be based on the size of the baby.
My DD was born at 7lbs 8oz. She went down to 6lbs 8oz when we left the hospital, so she was on the small side.
She wore NB until 3 months. Then she wore 0-3 months until close to 6 months. 3-6 months until she was close to 9 months. She is now 10 1/2 monts and wearing 6-9 in some brands and 6-12 in Gap.

I think its totally up to the size of the baby and the brand. DS is wearing 3 Mos/3-6 mos. He still fits into Gymboree 0-3 mos, but everything else is too small. He's 10 weeks and was 13.1lb at 8 weeks.
I think 0-3 is suppose to fit till 3 mos.

Wow, really? My DS is like that too, but he is still in 12-18 in gap and 18-24 in most other brands!

It depends on the baby and style of clothes. I find that carters/osh kosh runs the biggest my 5 month old can still fit in 9 months, 6 to 12 in Gap and 12 months everything else.. He is very long with a long torso!!

DS is normal for weight but he has long legs.
when it comes to onesies he usually fits into the clothes through that month (so for carters he worse size 3 months until he was 4 months, then moved to size 6 months)
however he is always a size larger in pants (well usually) because they tend to ride up and become shorts 
so while he still fits into all of his 6 month onesies now (at almost 7 months) he is in all 9 months pants.
