stupid email vent....
i just started my new job last week, and they set up outlook for me to use at the office and a gmail account to use to check email from home. (the emails are connected and the gmail is supposed to dump into the outlook)
i checked my email several times today at work and didnt have any new emails.
when i got home i checked the gmail and there was 1 important message waiting for me from 6am this morning which i would have loved to have taken care of today during my office hours.
but noooo. tomorrow, which is my busiest most crammed day, i have to take care of this.
blahh... thanks for letting me vent over this dumb issue...
sigh....

I hear you on that one. At my last job the email was constantly on and off and when I would check through their webmail system at home or there and I would find a lot of new ones that were not in outlook. I would suggest you talk to your IT people to let them know your email isn't working properly. Might be a server issue like mine was.

get a personal blackberry or something like it to retrieve your personal email.
In my firm we are not allowed to access personal email accounts due to firewall and compliance regulations.
