Maybe I'm just tired but I'm trying to understand what you did that was so wrong, myself?
The politics and nonsense that goes on within agencies is the worst.
I'd let it go at this point. Chalk it up to her having a bad day.
I'm sure a lot of people are having them given the weather today.

In the past I've had bosses snap it me for stuff that I know I wasn't in the wrong for.
It's hard not to personalize it but usually in my experience, it's because of stuff they are going through.
It's always blown over too and was quickly forgotten about. I also think a lot of people in higher roles can sometimes be a little micro-managey about stuff like this so she's probably just annoyed that you got to HR before she made the formal announcement.
HR may not even catch on. 
I went through a similar dynamic when I actually resigned from my last company.....my boss got mad because I told people and he didn't want them to know I was leaving until HE said I was.
