stupid question about washing bottles

If you put the bottles in the dishwasher...is it compltely gross and unsanitary to wash them in the same cycle with the dog's food/water bowls? I havent done this yet but I'm wondering if it is ok since the soap & water gets sooo hot and I'm assuming it is killing all bacteria. I just dont know if I feel comfortable doing this

I don't think there is any problem with it. We've done it with the cat dishes before.

If your dishwasher doesn't clean dishes, you should look into getting a new dishwasher....

Everything comes out clean, no matter what goes in (unless it's caked-on, but then it's just stuck to the original item)

I don't think so. Bowls that had raw eggs or meat in it goes in the dishwasher and gets washed with everything else.
Yes, for those I do a pre-wash, but I don't really scrub it

I used to do it...not thinking twice. Thinking that it's hot enough.

Then I read that you should not wash dog's bowls with people's dishes, etc, b/c dogs sometimes eat feces of other animals, etc, and the slight risk of a getting a parasite or worm exists.

What I do is wash my dog's bowls by hand then run in the dishwasher cycle since they are pretty much clean. That way they are double washed. JMO though
