Stupid training!
None of my jeans fit! Any of you ladies who have trained or are traing for a half or full marathon dealing with the same thing? Of course Dh has to rub it in and be like "what's up with your butt?". Argh!
However I went out and bought a new scale since the old one was cheap and junkie. Anyone else have the weight watchers body fat analysis scale? I like it so far!

When I trained for a full marathon, I put on 5 lbs over the course of my training. It was frustrating. I tried to chock it up to muscle building.

Hmmm, not here. I did gain weight since last summer but am positive it is muscle, because my clothes fit better and in some things i even needed a smaller size. How are your eating habits?

My legs got cut and my butt got flat...I would have preferred less wide, not flat. I also kept losing weight in my lower back and between that and my butt going flat shopping for pants was rough!

The scale is staying the same and I've increased my calories slightly. I was eating way too little for way too long. For about 5 years I was eating mostly 1200 calories a day. I recalculated everything and I'm supposed to be eating 1600 calories a day minimum. Since the scale isn't going up I'm going to stick with this and try to reset my metabolism. I'm sad I don't fit in my size 2's anymore though!

i always seem to gain weight while training for halfs. think it's a combo of putting on muscle mass and eating because i'm so much hungrier!
