stupied question but have to ask formula

With powdered formula did you have to use different water then tap or bottled water?? I have only been breastfeeding and now might have to switch over to formula and I have a few cans of formula but I also use the ready made similac 2oz early shield from the hospital that she does take at times.

i've been using nursery water. i wouldn't use tap water yet - but that's just me.

my brother & his wife were told by their doc not to do tap water until she was 6 months - i actually forgot to ask my doc - but i will!

I use tap water in a Brita Pitcher that I keep on the counter so it's room temp.

I boiled tap water

Me too. I boil the tap water put it in bottles and leave them on the counter. Then all that i have to do is add the powder to the bottle shake and the bottles ready. It makes it so much easier to travel too.

Re: stupied question but have to ask formula

I use filtered boiled tap water.

The filter is through my GE Fridge.

I read (somewhere) that filtered tap water is best to use. I boil because I am crazy - lol.
