Heard about this. Also heard a customer had a big problem with them cause he asked to have ketchup put on his sandwich and supposedly they dont have ketchup at subway..Who knew LOL

There also was a documentary about this. Which was very interesting.

If they are advertising a foot long sandwich, they should produce a footlong sandwich. For me it's similar to the woman who sued Walmart for ringing up sales items for ONE CENT more than they were supposed to. Everyone thought it was ridiculous but consider how many people they have consistently overcharged & how many millions that amounts to in Walmart's pocket.

McDonald's was found negligent for serving coffee that would produce 3rd degree burns. This was an almost 80 year old woman who had 3rd degree burns & had to get skin grafts & 2 years of medical treatment. Her labia was fused to her leg.

Only because I saw the documentary she was a passenger in the car. She was not driving.

Yes coffee is known to be hot and I'm sure there was a portion of blame assigned to her. It still doesn't meant that after being notified numerous times by numerous staff & lawsuits, McDonald's wasn't also negligent.

I'm sorry Barb.. we are usually on the same page.. but I can't agree. Fine.. call attention to the fact (although I think MEASURING your lunch is a little bizarre)... tell the manager that you want a freebie, call 7 On Your Side and out the bastards.. but to SUE? To tie up the legal system with a complaint about the fact that you only got 11.5 inches of crappy bread instead of the full 12 inches? I'm sure a letter to corporate would have yielded at least 12 inches of free sandwich for the trouble it took you to write. But to ENGAGE A FLIPPING ATTORNEY, FILE A COMPLAINT and SUE the company because you feel like you might have been cheated out of a half inch of bread a few times? That's just ridiculous in my opinion.

I absolutely agree. The lengths that people will go to make their point is ridiculous and prevents the justice system from doing its real job. This person is a clown and their lawyer is a clown for even enteraining this lawsuit.
