Success stories - frozen sperm?
I haven't been posting much, because my first RE consult isn't for another couple weeks, so I don't have much to input yet. . .
But has anyone had any success stories with frozen sperm? DH had colon cancer about 6 years ago, and he froze 3 vials of sperm before starting treatment.
If you have dealt with this - what RE did you go to? Do you know if this significantly altered your chances?
I hope 3 vials is enough

a friend of mine was in a similar situation with a husband who survived cancer. she ended up getting pg through IVF after a bunch of failed IUIs.

I know someone from another message board whose DH was in the army (this was a few years ago) and she got PG with frozen sperm and a IUI, but she was from out of state.

I know a girl who got pregant on her first IVF with frozen sperm. Her husband had testicular cancer and had frozen his sperm prior to treatment. She is due in April.

I had 17 eggs fertilize with frozen sperm on my first ivf cycle. I did become pregnant on the first fresh cycle but miscarried. Nothing took for my first frozen cycle and had the transfer today on my second frozen cycle today.

If you only have 3 vials, I'd definitely go right to IVF. I'm on my fourth IUI with frozen sperm (great numbers and I'm fine) and no luck yet...
