I'm one week in and lost .8. I'm happy with that - I didn't deprive myself of anything but watched portions.

A lot of people at my meeting tonight said they finally broke through plateus and it shook things up.

Excited to start tomorrow

Re: Success with the new Weight Watchers program

I loved the old program and it has been a difficult adjustment for me during the holidays but I have to say I really love the new program. I find myself eating much more fruits and veggies. Still having a hard time getting protein in with each meal but that's always been my problem. I don't really like any breakfast protein options. But I feel as if this program will still work even if I can't get in the protein in the morning each day.

My only problem is that I love my alcoholic drinks and they are a killer of points now. I understand I get more points, but one night of tons of drinking, will kill that. Fortunately I don't go out drinking once a week but I do enjoy my drinks during the week and it does cut into my points. I am adjusting to it but I have found that the drinks is the hardest adjustment for me.

I started Points Plus in Nov. I've lost about 8 pounds on it so far. (I joined WW in July and am down about 42lbs total).

Lost about 11lbs. Gained some back. I hated the plan at first and thought I was doing a crap job! Let me tell you the weight melted off! Those WW scientists are no joke!!Chat Icon

Re: Success with the new Weight Watchers program

Wow! This is really motivating!

I need to lose at least 5lbs by Feb 20th. I need 10lbs to go in total but I have to start slow.

Praying that this works.

Re: Success with the new Weight Watchers program

day 2 on it....
I like it better then the old.

It really lets me know how over carb'ed under protein I was.

Also, with fruit being free...my normal breakfast went down 3 pts...which i used this am for an egg with spinach and tomatoes.

Not liking the new plan. I feel like its unfair that they'd change something liek this when I've spent years "thinking" in points. Its like everything I've ever known is shot to hell!!
