Sudden swelling in calves/feet/ankles? More in one than the other?
I am 32 weeks. I have not really had any swelling this pregnancy other than typical mild/slow water weight. I was totally fine all day (my SIL even took a pic of me a couple hours ago and my legs and ankles look normal). We went out for DH's birthday dinner, and when we got home the dog scratched my foot by accident. After a few minutes it was still bothering me so I lofted my feet to examine more closely. OMG. SO swollen. Both are but the right one is almost double the left, and it feels tingly. Is this a cause for concern or normal swelling?

I would call. The fact that it's uneven and tingly seems off. It can never hurt to call and see what your dr says.

Call. One side can mean a clot. When I had mi e one leg was swollen red and hot.

You can call but it's probably normal. My left foot was much more swollen than my right & I had the tingly feeling too. Keep your feet elevated above heart level when you sleep tonight if you can. A few days of doing that & drinking a lot of water & the swelling went down (for a few weeks at least, then came back again closer to the end).

It isn't hot or red. Both sides are swollen but the right is worse than the left.
Ugh. I hate the uncertain feeling. I don't want to call and be sent to the ER for regular swelling, you know?

I had more swelling in one foot than the other for the last 6w of my pregnancy. Some days it was worse than others. For me, it turned out to be totally normal.

Call your doctor. I know you have a heart history and sudden selling can be a sign of pre-e
