Suggestions- Gifts for someone in hospital
My FIL is in hospital, had some minor surgery and all is ok thankfully.
He will be in there for rest of wk and I wanted to bring some stuff to help as day goes by.
So magazines, playing cards ( my MIL is there all day too), what else?
He isnt too mobile either right now, due to the surgery.

some comforts from home -- pjs, robe, socks
lotion - your skin gets really dry there.
snacks if he's not on a special diet
hand held suduko game or something like that.
I hope he's feeling better soon!

Does he like crossword puzzles or word searches? Don't forget pencils!!
If he likes to read you can get him a book or 2. Maybe something non-fiction about a topic he's interested in.

If he is into sports he might like a book about an old time ball player such as Babe Ruth,Billy Martin, Lou Gehrig,Joe Dimaggio etc..

How about some fresh fruit?
Or a box of assorted bakery cookies. Whatever he doesn't eat, he can offer to his visitors when they come.
