summer infant vs. motorola video monitor?
I got both for my shower. They both have two cameras and the Motorola has a bigger screen. Any reviews on one vs the other? I'm more concerned about it lasting a few years. Tia

Re: summer infant vs. motorola video monitor?
I have the motorla with one camera. I like it but if the monitor is not connected to the charger the battery will start to die in about 3 hours.

I have the two camera Motorola and it's pretty awesome. I agree with the pp about the battery life on the handheld but I just keep it plugged in overnight, luckily I have an outlet next to my nightstand. I like that you can scan the room with it and talk through the handheld to the room kwim?

I have the Motorola - Digital Video Baby Monitor with 2.8" Color LCD Screen and I love it. It has a great picture and is very reliable

I have had both versions of the summer infant. and I wish I could say that I didnt. It works, but the pic is not great and the cameras drop out often.

I have the Motorola and love it. I find that you can extend the battery if you don't keep the picture on constantly. This is what I do when DD is napping. I also keep it plugged in overnight.

I can;t say anything about the Motorola, but I can tell you I'm on my 5th summer infant monitor - theyve replaced them everytime at no cost, so the customer service is great, but the monitor is crap.

Re: summer infant vs. motorola video monitor?
I have the Summer, but not the handheld. It has lasted 3+ years, and is still fine. But I don't use it that often...only when I hear something through the Sony Baby Call monitor that I need to look at!
