supplies for making baby food
Can I use just regular ice trays or what do you suggest for freezing the food? Also, how many should I buy? I'm guessing I would probably make different foods in one day and then just give the babies (twins) a variety during the week. (mind you I am still pregnant, but trying to learn as much as possible now while I still have my witts with me ... )

They sell ice cube trays with lids for baby food. You will need a steamer to cook the veggies and a food processor to grind them up but I think thats it.

Re: supplies for making baby food
Annabel Karmel books are terrific.
A steamer for your cookware, a food mill for apples, prunes, pears, food processor and/or blender for other purees.
I used OXO covered ice cube trays - much more durable than the specific baby food ones.
What made it super-easy to put the food in the small trays were mini spatulas . I used them everyday.
HTH - good luck!

Re: supplies for making baby food
I use:
Pots and steam tray for steaming (otherwise I boil)
Food processor and/or blender (for pureeing peas and beans, stuff with skins)
spatula
SO EASY baby food trays (my favorite), but I also use the Kidco ones as well
Freezer bags (Glad, Ziplock, personal preference)
Annabel Karmel Books are GREAT!
