Support group/ get together?
I definitely have found a lot of comfort on this board and it's nice to be able to talk to people going through the same thing... So I was wondering if anyone would be interested in maybe doing a get together- maybe a bar where we can talk about our experiences and try to help one another through this... But also drink to ease the pain a little! I think it would be good for me to talk to others and I am thinking some of you may feel the same way. Let me know if anyone is interested and where you live so we can maybe coordinate something centrally located. Hugs to all of you!

A few of us in mid- Suffolk... Maybe we can do something around there- there are a bunch of places by the smithaven mall. Maybe we can set something up for next week?

I would be willing to do this. This board has definatly helped me. I had a miscarriage on May 4th, 2012 and just last Friday I had another one (the dr believes this was a chemical pregnancy). I do have a healthy 3 year old daughter at home. I live in queens village

I don't mind driving to Nassau either. Maybe even somewhere right off the LIE so its easy for everyone... I don't want to leave anyone out! Or we can always do a Suffolk get together and a Nassau one. Any suggestions?

id say the smith haven mall area seem like the best fit. close for the majority, and there are options, fridays, the burger place, CPK, cheesecake factory, applebees,
does this work??
anyone have a better idea or a time frame that works best?

How about next Wed or Thurs? Anyone ever gone to John harvards in lake grove? I always wanted to try that place. They have 1/2 price apps and $3 pints for happy hour.

John Harvards sounds good and I live right over there, so that is perfect for me. 9/6 is probably good, but I am a teacher and start school the day before, but I think that day is open for me.
