swaddle blankets in crib
Can I put my 1.5 week old baby to sleep at night in his crib swaddled in an aden & anais swaddle blanket? SIDS scares the crap out of me! but he looks so uncomfortable in his sleep sack

Swaddles (properly done) are VERY safe for a sleeping infant. My baby has been in one since day 1 for sleep at night and most naps.

I swaddle...DD is 6.5 weeks, but she sleeps right next to me in her bassinet, so if the swaddle gets lose or she starts to break out I see it.
Im not sure what I will do when DD moves to the crib.

Agreed! That is also the only swaddler DD will tolerate!
