Swaddling?

Katie still likes being swaddled- but I know they are not supposed to have blankets while they sleep and she is starting to get strong enough to kick out of it sometimes.

When do I have to stop swaddling her?

Re: Swaddling?

I just asked this question a couple of weeks ago and I think the answer is...you don't have to. Most girls seemed to say that when the baby doesn't need/want it anymore she will let you know. My Katherine is 3 1/2 mos. and I still swaddle her; in fact, when she outgrew the small swaddle me blanket, I bought the large one. Most recently, I have been wrapping her up keeping one hand free; she likes it this way now.

Miranda is 3 motnhs old and we still swaddle her for naps and bedtime. She will not sleep otherwise. She goes nutso with the hands. We use a swaddle me and she rarely breaks out of it. Other moms like the miracle blanket. I feel like I will be swaddling her when she's 5.

My son does that but I continue to swaddle him. He only gets his feet loose, he never gets it loose enough to be able to kick it up on his face.

I haven't seen them at BRU, but Buy Buy Baby had them the last time I was in there.

I second this...it is a MIRACLE!!! Cassidy used hers until she was about 4 months old, and probably could have used it longer if she wasn't so big. It is the best invention ever!!!!!
