have any of you ladies broke a bone and now that ur preggo that area swells more than others? when i was 12 i broke my shin (tibia) bone and for some reason that ankle swells a lot more than my other ankle. also is anyone else having swelling at 20 weeks? its not bad at all now, but i'm just afraid of what its going to be like at 30 weeks if its already starting? can u please recommend some low salt foods since i know that and drinking tons of water will help?

I broke my right thumb at the joint skiing many years ago. I do find it swells more than my other thumb now. Odd!
And yes, I started swelling bad at around 20 weeks. Not my hands so much- more my feet and ankles. By the end of the day my feet look like ELEPHANT feet. It's so FUGLY
ETA- as far as sodium- it's SO hard. Everything and i mean EVERYTHING has sodium. Avoid soups, cold cuts, bacon, hot dogs etc. I try to eat lots of eggs, cereal, chicken prepared myself, salad with minimal dressing, etc.
Also- make sure you eat plenty of potassium- bananas OJ etc. That helps balance sodium!
