Swim Vest for 15 Month Old?

Do they make them for toddlers that young? Everything I see says 2 and up and the weight range starts at 30 pounds. Thomas is only in the low to mid 20's.

Thanks!

Re: Swim Vest for 15 Month Old?

Are you talking about a life vest, or some kind of blow up thing?

DS has a life vest for when we go on ILs boat. He's 15 mo and 22 lbs. ILs got it for him so I'd have to ask where, if that's what you're looking for. Don't know what sizes they carry, but I have seen ones at TRU, BJs and West Marine.

I have a toddler blow up boat, but I'm looking for something he can wear in the pool as an extra safety measure, but not something necessarily approved as a life-vest as you would need to wear on a boat. I don't know if I'm explaining it right, sorry! Chat Icon

Thanks for your help though! I'll check out the places you mentioned!

Christine-

When we have Kaitlyn in my in-laws pool, she wears a lifevest that you would wear on a boat. We got it at West Marine in Massapequa.

Re: Swim Vest for 15 Month Old?

mine has been wearing the swim vest plus floaties. he's been doing a great job with the combination of the 2 keeping his head out of the water.

I think I got the 24 month old vest from target...but I did see a 15-20 pound vest at walmart in the beginning of the season.
