Swings?

We bought a full sized Graco swing but hear about smaller - travel ones. What did you all get or are planning to? We don't travel much and we have plenty of room but just wondering the pros or cons.

Re: Swings?

We registered for the Fisher Price Aquarium travel swing. It takes up less room and we can bring it with us when we go somewhere. My friend has it and loves it and the baby loves it too. BRU has it. let me see if I can find a picture...Ok found one...

Re: Swings?

I registered for the full size swing and a bouncy. I felt like the bouncy and smaller travel swing were the same so I only did one.

This is the one I registered for too. I think it's great because we can bring it with us anywhere and it doesnt' take up too much room.

we got the travel swing too. It folds up really small to get out of the way and it is easy to carry up and down the stairs. I figured my house will be taken over enough by baby gear so something that folds up would be good!

Re: Swings?

I had both..a full size swing for my home and then the travel swing to take with me. The travel swing is great, but I am glad I had the full size too. It has a much higher weight limit and did not kill my back to get her in and out of it.

We registered for both. I figured one I can take to our parents and the other will stay at home.

Re: Swings?

We have the FP travel swing and it's great -- I love how the seat is big and deal and she pulls on the little toys to activate the music/lights. Also it says it is safe to carry with her in it -- which we've only done once or twice but that's a feature that would come in handy a lot when the baby is young and falls esleep in the swing a lot.
