Please stop. You are more than a year away from buying a house and you are wasting our time, the real estate agent's time, and the time of the people selling their house every time you look at a property you have no intention of buying (or can even afford).
When I was selling my house, every time someone came to see it we were hopeful of receiving an offer. What you are doing to those homeowners is cruel.
Look online - MLSLI, listingbook, Trulia, Zilliow - any of the millions of websites out there but please stop making appointments and wasting peoples time.
I don't believe it going to open houses is cool the homeowners when we are learning about the process we are looking at areas and want to see what we can afford at this point right now with an understanding that things might change slightly and that areas might not have houses that are open and available for the time that we buy next year.
Not once have I said that I made appointments with people. I have however went to open houses with my fiancé because we are interested in seeing what is out there and we have been very pleased so far with what we've seen.

I don't really understand everyone's problem with this guy. You can see the threads he creates, if you don't like what he posts, don't open them. He has an audience and people respond. Rather then trying to force him to stop posting, just stop reading and the rest will take care of itself.
