take home outfit
i hate it but i am being super picky and haven't found anything yet!
i am looking for something:
white/pastel/neutral- NO characters
one piece
wrap across or buttons - no elastic waist
WARM- long sleeve & legs covered
nicer than PJs
i can add socks or hats or it can come with footies, etc.
Any ideas? links please!

Sounds similar to the one I had for DS 2 years ago. I this new baby a set from the Children's Place.

Check out Baby Gap.
Our take home outfit was similar to this but I can't find it - we bought it at Janie and Jack. It was a one piece in an off white color.

I think you can specify gender neutral in the search.
His stuff is nice b/c it is not "cartooney" and looks so special.
My mom bought my son his going home outfit. We knew he was a boy so we got the navy blue, with white piping/stitching, and a white hat. It had feeties and extra material for the hands so he wouldn't scratch himself. It tied in the front in a little bowtie. We bought a cute blanket too.

Thanks! I remember buying it in 3 months thinking, I hope it's not too small!
Meanwhile, he totally needed newborn and was in newborn for like over a month

Carters had a lot of neutral outfits. I put my DH in charge of take home outfits.. He's already talking Yankee hat, Giant top, and Rangers bottoms.... I may have made a BIG mistake lololol.
