Taking your infant in the pool

DS is almost 5 months. FIL has a pool and I plan to take him in it this summer.

Did you use a lifejacket for your infant when you took him or her in a pool? If you used one, where did you get it?

Did your infant like going in the pool?

We got DS this inflatable life raft thing that has a bottom for his legs to stick through for the pool. I think he liked it a little bit. By the end of the summer he loved it. This year we have been taking swim lesions and he loves them. We just got back from Florida yesterday and he loved the pool and the water parks. We had swim lesions today and he did not want to get out of the pool when we were done. I got a vest for him for this summer and for our vacation but he did not like it. He is much happier in the swim shirt and shorts.
