Talk to me about feeding my 7 month old...
I know I should be starting him on some table foods but I just have no idea where to start. I mean I give him puffs now and then, but I would rather be giving him something a little more nutritious. So what should I add and when? Here is his feeding schedule now:
7am- 6oz bottle
9am- 2Tbsp oatmeal/ fruit
11a- 6oz bottle
1pm- yogurt/ 1/2 fruit
3pm- 6oz bottle
5pm- 2Tbsp oatmeal/ veggie
6:30pm- 6oz bottle

I am wondering too. Emerson has four 6oz. bottles a day plus breakfast (2tbs cereal 2tbs. fruit, yogurt), lunch (2tbs. cereal, 2tbs. veggies), and dinner (2tbs. fruit, 2tbs. meat dinner). I bought the puffs too and the yogurt melts and a few Stage 3 foods to try but I am holding back more because I am nervous that she'll choke. (She still has NO teeth) What are some good first foods to try?

My DS will be 7 months in 2 weeks.
I do 4- 8 oz bottles a day. For breakfast I give a full Stage 2 jar of fruit with oatmeal and for dinner a jar of veggies w/ oatmeal. My DS seems very content so I'm not going to change anything. My ped said the next food is YoBaby at 8 months and pastina at 9months.

DS is 7 months and is on the same exact feeding schedule. I think he gets a tbsp more of cereal (I eyeball it) and for dinner he doesn't get oatmeal, just a veggie sometimes with meats mixed in and 1/2 a fruit. Ive given him puffs but he is totally not into it. He also gets a little water after each meal (like 1/2 oz) just trying to get him to take the sippy cup!
