Talk to me about gallstones

I have had two gallbladder attacks, once in November and once in January both while I was pregnant. They didn't do a sono to confirm gallstones until after I was pregnant and sure enough they were there. Since giving birth 3 weeks ago, I almost had 2 more attacks (both last week) but I was still on my c-section pain meds for some other issues so the pain wasn't so unbearable.

So questions... can anyone recommend a doctor for this issue?

Do they always take out the gallbladder when you have stones?

I know gallstones are common during or after pregnancy but is it normal for the attacks to become more frequent after giving birth?

I used Dr David Halpern in Mineola for my double hernia surgery last Feb he was great.. I know alot of people that have used him for GB surgery as well.....I dont know where you live but give him a call...

I had exactly hat you had minus the csection drugs.....def got worse after the baby. I used dr lipp and dr kalife in mineola. Loved them both
