Re: talk to me about having a boy :-)
My husband's cousin adopted two boys from Columbia and they are wonderful. Have you looked into Columbia? Just throwing that location out there as well.
I personally have two little boys (3 and 1) and I love them (of course). I guess IMO which is general, little boys seem to be a little more active - runniing, falling, kinda all over the place but not in a bad way at all. We're having a thid and I would be estatic to have another boy if that gives you an idea how much I love my boys.
I have heard women say to me that every woman needs a girl though. I have no idea about that - you can't really miss what you don't know.
I wish the you all the best and how exciting to start planning. I am sure whomever you adopt they will be sooooo loved and will be wonderful.
Just a funny aside - they have much better clothes for girls though:)

MY SON..MY SON!! That is what I say all the time, LOL! I feel so lucky to have been blessed with a son. I can't even explain the love and bond between a mother and her son. It's such a beautiful thing. I'm the first girl he loved and I will always be his first love
ITA! Don't get me wrond I love my DD but she's a Daddys girl. My DS is a Mommas boy!!

Re: talk to me about having a boy :-)
i had the same concerns when i found out i was having a boy. i could only picture myself with a girl. i grew up with two sisters - i didn't know anything about boys! but my DS is the love of my life, i cannot imagine a more amazing child than him
and to be totally honest, the "difference" between boys and girls (not just anatomically) is so much less pronounced when they are babies. no matter what you have they are your baby. i assure you, you will barely think of your child as "boy" or "girl" - just "my baby"

Re: talk to me about having a boy :-)
My son is very affectionate- always giving kisses and hugging. He is the calmest child and very happy with each new activity. He is so much fun- a wodnerful mix of loving trucks and cuddling with a storybook.
I never thought buying boy overalls and polo shorts would be so much fun, but it is.
Everyone told me how much boys love their moms and it is true!
Boys are great!
