Teachers and Moms
Those who are both teachers and moms - I have been thinking about changing careers to teaching for awhile now and I'm thinking that in the next few years I'll know for sure if I want to. I also plan to TTC soon - do you think its possible to go back to school for teaching and be a new mom? Too crazy to do/balance?

Its doable ... I went for my masters degree at LIU CW POST CAMPUS and I was the youngest by far ...(I'm 23). Most of the classes were filled with women who were changing careers - Plus, the masters program was SOOOOOO easy! It was a joke actually and looking back I wish I was more challenged but I worked my butt off in undergrad. Anyway, the professors are very easy going and are aware of how busy the students are.
You can do it! Its the best job in the world. If you're entering teaching for the right reasons (not just the vacation time) then you will love it and be so happy that you decided to enter the profession!
