Teachers- when did you tell your students
I'm just about 4 months and it's getting more noticeable. All of the teachers know, I just haven't 'announced' it yet to the kids.

i told them after i told my principal. i teach hs, so once the teachers know the kids all find out anyway.

Teachers- when did you tell your students
I never announced it. I waited until they asked me.
IMO I think it is awkward to be like,"Hey kids! Just wanted to let you know I'm pregnant. " I teach MS so they're immature about everything.

Teachers- when did you tell your students
21 weeks - the day after my anatomy scan. I teach HS. My students were like, "We were wondering when you were going to finally tell us." I guess they were too polite to ask.

Re: Teachers- when did you tell your students
lol i do think some may notice and one girl overheard me in the library talking to an other teacher. the girl was mature enough to come over to me privately and congratulate me. she's only 12!
i think ill wait then until kids ask. the girl asked if she could tell our math class together but ill tell her im going to wait a little while longer.
thanks all

Teachers- when did you tell your students
I got pregnant in April, so I didn't tell that class at all. I told my current class in September, since I was already past 20 weeks when school started.

Yay Dani -4 months already!? How are you feeling? Hope all is well!
My 2 bff's who are teachers in Westbury and Brooklyn each told the kids (both middle school) when they started asking questions.

Teachers- when did you tell your students
I told them around 18ish weeks because I was starting to show and (I think) it became obvious. I teach high school so the kids are hyper aware of everything and it was just easier this way, especially because I was running to the bathroom to pee in the middle of class when I couldn't hold it any longer. I told my administrators earlier that same week I announced to the students.

20 weeks
ETA - I told them after I told my principal. I told him pretty much before I told anyone, as soon as my genetic testing came back okay (around 14 weeks).

Teachers- when did you tell your students
With my first I was already 14-15 weeks in sept so I told them right away bc I had a tiny bump. This time I tried to hide it for as long as I could! I have a small stomach to begin with so once I was like 10-11 weeks I had a bump and was trying to wait till 12 weeks but I saw two guy students asking each other during class at 11 weeks so I just told them! Lol they were like omg you're 3 months pregnant and you haven't told us yet?! I started laughing bc they have no idea about pregnancy!

Re: Teachers- when did you tell your students
I was working with my first one. I told my principal pretty early in my pregnancy because of my morning sickness. I told my kids after my 3rd month.

Re: Teachers- when did you tell your students
A few figured it out early on since I was having morning sickness in the beginning of the school day. Otherwise I told a few parents and the kids figured it out when we came back from break and it looked like I swallowed a watermelon. Lol.

Re: Teachers- when did you tell your students
22 weeks and thats because I was very noticeable. I teach first graders- they had no idea though, but the week before we had a play- and I had parents wondering (I found out after I announced it from my students that the parents were wondering! haha)
