Team Green nursery- sooo frustrating!!
We are team and I am adamant about staying that way.
I can't find any nursery designs I like. I told DH maybe we should just wait til after the baby is born to do it- but he says absolutely not (and although it would be easier- I agree with him)
I wanted something light and airy and serene. He wants dark furniture and dark walls so nothing will get "dirty." He refuses to look at pictures online or do any research on his own to help me out.
He's already making me regret the playstation 3 I finally agreed to (as I hear sounds of Call of duty coming from the living room )
I know no one can solve this for me- just needed to vent.

You might want to remind him that dark furniture will show any and all dust WAY quicker than lighter furniture!!!
That said, I'm a fan of dark furniture (all of ours is dark and we're getting a cherry or expresso crib also).
There's a beautiful soft green bedding set on pottery barn kids' site - when you said "serene" that was the first image I got in my head.
ETA: I think this is it:

this one is cute & after the baby is born you could always add some or flair to it.

I didn't find out the sex of my first child so we did a green and yellow room with a "Guess How Much I Love You" theme.

Re: Team Green nursery- sooo frustrating!!
I have some of mine in an album - it's PBK Cottontail friends.
If I was team green and had to do it over, I would wait to get the bedding. I would have probably painted the walls either a tan or a green and then picked out 2 sets and ordered them when the baby came.

I have pics in my album, but my furniture is light. I still love my son's nursery and plan to use it for our next as well....

Re: Team Green nursery- sooo frustrating!!
Sorry to crash, but I was on team green and we did a forest theme b4 DS was born. Once he was born we added more "boy" type things to the room. We figured if we had a girl we'd have the artist come back and do flowers around the room. Image Attachment(s):

Re: Team Green nursery- sooo frustrating!!
We will be getting dark furniture and probably paint a neutral color but I refuse to decorate the nursery until I know it if the baby is a or . IMO there is nothing wrong with waiting...the baby is going to be in our room for awhile anyway..good luck!
