Teething and fever?
My DD is getting her 3rd molar right now and is a complete mess. We are on day 3 of fever and crankiness!
I asked my doctor and she said that fevers while cutting tooth is a MYTH. So why is it that my DD has gotten a fever every single time she cut a tooth?
Anyone else's kid run a fever while cutting a tooth? Please tell me I'm not the only one.

Re: Teething and fever?
My DD only got a fever when she cuts molars and incisors, otherwise no fevers for us. BUT my PED has a rule with teething and fevers-if no other symptoms and baby is teething-teething fevers are under 101, over 101 is a virus/bacterial infection/sickness.
my dd always get around 101/high 100s when she cut her molars in and now the same for those pesky incisors.
I hope they come in fast

Re: Teething and fever?
that looks like an adult mouth
I always get incisors confused with canines...
Here's a chart http://www.anbesol.com/teething/chart.asp
My daughter is got her top 2 canines, the sharp looking ones just recently, and all of her 1st molars about 2 months ago. She cuts seriously 3-4 of these buggers at a time, always has.
The canines are now taking their sweet time torturing her and everyone her.
