Re: Tell me your EASY transition to bed stories

DD loves her princess bed.

Had a few issues, only because there were changes with the new baby. But she still loves her bed and will nap in it during the day.

Re: Tell me your EASY transition to bed stories

We told him he has a new big boy bed, and he is going to sleep in it. He said a few times he wanted his bars back Chat Icon

We told him bars were for babies, and now he is a big boy. We put on some spidey bedding and that was pretty much it...

The first few nights he fell out of bed, but he got used to it!

Re: Tell me your EASY transition to bed stories

DD still takes 2-3 hour naps in her bed. Has NEVER slept on the floor.

She's in bed by 8 pm. Sometimes she'll get up and get a toy or a book and bring it to bed with her. She usually falls asleep with it. Chat Icon

She gets up anywhere from 6-7 am.

Never gets out of bed at night.

Re: Tell me your EASY transition to bed stories

I worried so much about this. DD was 3.4 before I put her in a bed LOL. She was happy in her crib and I was afraid to loose my good lil sleeper so I put it off.

I hada talk with her NOT to get out of bed without calling mommy in. 9I didnt want awandering kid in the middle of the night. Well, that talk was great because to this day she NEVER gets out of bed..she calls me in to get her in the AM Chat Icon

She fell out the first 2 or 3 nights....I heard a THUD (LOL) went in..scooped her up..she slept through the fall LOL and put her badck in bed. After night 3 or so..no falling out and that was that.

Re: Tell me your EASY transition to bed stories

DS took to it fine, no issues at all. Slept fine from the 1st night. He loved the idea of it being for big boys. His naps have been sporadic, but thats more my fault than his.

Good luck!!!!
