Testing out Trigger..

So the nurses said on fri that I can start testing out the trigger on friday.. it was pretty light at that point. Tested again yesterday and it was pretty much a BFN. Today I tested and it was very visible and almost as dark as fridays test. Should I get excited lol.. I know it's early but I'm curious why the line could be getting darker at this point? I'm 11 days past trigger..

Just to recap...all with FMU...2 days ago faint, yesterday bfn, and today its very visible and darker???

I'm no expert, but it sounds to me like you should be a little excited. When's your beta? I do not know of any reason but ONE why a line would get darker

Fridays was not FMU but I peed after 4 hours, normal water and it was faint but visible. Sat I didn't bother testing bc I was getting major AF cramps so I figured it was on the way. Sunday was FMU and BFN pretty much. We couldn't really see a line. Today I tested and its very visible. So I guess I'll see what tomorrows looks like. No beta- my dr doesn't do betas with IUI's but she wants me to check by thurs/fri for AF or to do a digital.

For me, trigger is faint at day 10 and gone by day 11. I can't wait for your update tomorrow!

This is why you should just wait till 12dpo to test at all Good luck! I'd test again tomorrow morning and compare it to today's test. If it's darker, I'd say that's a good sign!

The nurses actually wanted me to test it out bc it's my first medicated cycle. I'll keep you guys posted. Hoping that sucker gets darker!

Wow my nurses never tell me to test. Lol. Maybe that's why I haven't broken down and done it. Too cheap to spend money and see a BFN Where do you get the cheap wondfo's? I looked at a local dollar store and they didn't have any. Or do I suck it up buy a real one or wait for beta thurs?? Decisions!!!

Amazon! My BFF lol I'm holding onto my FRER for closer. I also bought a pack of digitals for Friday if AF decides not to show. They didn't order me to test but said it will be helpful so I can decipher when the trigger leaves bc I'm not getting a beta of Fri.

I still don't know why my RE does not do betas with IUI bc all the other Drs in the practice do. I guess I should be glad bc it's saving me some$ lol

Wait until tomorrow and test with FMU on FRER or a digital by then you should know

When I got a BFP, i tested the trigger out, it went negative one day the next day there was a faint, and I mean faint line, then it got darker and darker. That time it went negative at 8DPO. But two cycles before that I had the trigger in my system until 13 dpo. I didn't go in for beta because the nurse told me not to, and to this day my DR is mad because she thinks it was a chemical. Anyway, long drawn out story later I think it is a great sign!


And me waiting until 12 days post anything to test was never going to happen. I think the longest I have ever made it in my life of TTC is 8 dpo

Sounds promising to me. 11dp trigger and went from BFN to an obvious BFP? Could be it!!!

Digital didn't go positive until 14dpo for me.

I posted this on TTC but just in case--
I was having horrible sharp cramps all night and boobs are killing me. I called the RE's office and they said that it sounds like AF is coming and to see if the line gets darker bc being that I never had a trigger shot before, they do not know how long it will stay in my system and the lines could be from it. I am 12dpt/11DPIUI. Took a FRER last night and this am and it looks almost the same if not very very slightly darker... but not a huge BFP. So I am thinking the line should be getting darker at this point if it was a BFP? I am due for AF in 3 days. This sucks! I am left in suspense and I don't want to get excited in case it's the trigger or chemical.

by 10dpt it was out of me. How much HCG did you get? Mine was 10,000 units.

I think it takes longer in heavier people. I'm 5'6 and 170 and it took 10 days.

Too help keep your hope alive, I felt HORRIBLE like I was getting AF any second. Cramps, headache, backache - all my usual. I was SURE that the trigger was playing tricks on me. Unfortunately, the pregnancy was ectopic, but still I was pregnant.

Don't lose hope yet!!!

do not go by dark lines..ui never had them..ever and even my betas were not doubling

i have 13 week old twins staring at me

Hey ladies.. the darn line is still there this am with FMU but it's light so I think this whole debocle is from the trigger shot staying in my system ridiculously long. I don't know what else it could be. The line is staying around but not getting darker. Should I go for a beta tomorrow?? I was thinking I should just wait for FMU tomorrow but part of me knows this is not a viable pregnancy. I don't want to waste the gas or copay for another negative

Hey there lady! Been waiting patiently for your update today lol.

When is af due? Are you having spotting or anything? Today is 13dptrigger right? I think personally (bc of copay and gas) I might wait til FMU tomorrow and take it from there. Or wait and see if af comes, if not then call for beta. Fingers and toes still crossed for you!!!!

Yes, 13dpt and 12dpiui..I have no clue when AF is due! I don't know when I O'ed.. thinking if I got my trigger on thursday, then I should have O'ed on sat, right? I think I will be due this fri/ sat then for AF. Does clomid screw up cycles? No spotting at all.. just heavy white discharge and cramping all day. I am totally never testing the trigger out again if it will send me on this confusing rollercoaster!!!
