THANK YOU VENT
Sorry but i have to....
It really gets on my nerves when you go out of your way to help someone and they DO NOT have the decency to say..."THANK YOU"
WHY EXACTLY IS THAT SOOOOOOO HARD?
And yes i know...we don't help people just to get a thank you. But it is just common courtesy to WRITE TWO FRIGGIN WORDS WHENS SOMEONE GIVES YOU GOOD ADVICE....
WHY IS THAT SO HARD TO DO?

Some People are just plain airheads...they don't get it that that is the right thing to do.
DH gives one of his co-workers a ride every morning, saving her time and money and she never once said has said thank you or that she appreciates the big favor he does for her everyday...

BUT when you are the ONLY ONE who tries to go out of their way to help and you GET NOTHING AT ALL...

I will say it used to happen to me SO OFTEN on LIWs that my blood would boil. In particular because I would give DETAILED replies to newbies about my vendors or wedding experience, with links and eveyrthing.. and not even TWO FRIGGIN WORDS saying THANK YOU!!
I am a very hepful person (or so I think) and it totally turned me off to helping ANYMORE. Its also part of the reason I basically stopped posting on any of the brides boards in general...
I only now refer people to my review if they need anything..
HERE .. its not happened AS MUCH .. but sometimes it still does, and it STILL makes my blood boil!!
COMMON COURTESY PEOPLE !
DISCLAIMER: there are many fabulous people here who are wonderful and always appreiciate and also helpful to ME .. so this is not the majority, its the select few that p*ss me off!

i just don't get it....
If someone spends their time helping or explaining something to a fellow poster....they shold say THANK YOU or some sort of appreciative FM...
I mean come on....
if you can post up the wazooo about your issues your planning and your BS....then you sohuld be able to quickly say Thanks (hey no need to add the YOU)...

YES i saw this happen on LIW often...and i can excuse some of it...because sometimes you get a gazillion FMs ...
BUT HERE....PUHLEEZE...
