Its like "OK i got your advice and not only did I not say THANK YOU for it... I am now running around the boards posting it everywhere... as if it was YOUR ADVICE and you knew it all along  Um ... NOT 
AT least say "Redhead gave me this advice on a thread" blah blah... c'mon !!!

In real life, I get upset when I go out of my way to help someone and they don't thank me or acknowledge it.
On LIW, I really don't get offended if someone doesn't thank me. I don't always follow up to see if someone thanked me or not. Unless it is something very serious and I have done a lot of work to get information... then I could see getting upset.

I get annoyed not just on here, but, even if I am holding a door for someone, or let someone out of a parking lot in front of me..a simple wave will do, but, nope!

It happened to me a few times on LIW, but I don't really let it bother me. I know there was one particular poster whose threads I stopped responding to, but in general, I didn't really keep track. I am on sporadically, so I don't always check the thread later anyway.
