Well no Thanksgiving here Chat Icon and whole turkeys aren't easy to find Chat Icon .

But they at least have turkey schnitzel cut here Chat Icon , so I plan on making skinny taste's turkey sweet potato shepherd's pie on that Thursday. Probably baked apples as a dessert. Maybe I'll make a stuffing side, too.

I have off that Wednesday, so maybe I'll be able to find a small turkey for Thanksgiving.

It's easier to find a whole turkey here because your butcher can order one and the supermarkets are starting to have frozen ones in store for Christmas. What do the Germans eat for Christmas dinner?

Traditionally it's goose for xmas dinner. The strange thing is all types of turkey cuts are out there, but no whole turkeys can be found. I could have ordered one, but I found out too late. Oh well. Turkey shepherd's pie it is!
