awwwww, i really wish he didn't kill him 
poor pig-- it's beyond scary that an eleven year old is standing over him with a gun like that-- i mean, i don't know-- it is each person's personal right to hunt if they want to but he's eleven  and i can't understand why anyone would WANT to hunt... i just love animals way too much to do that.

Keep in mind - it is Alabama...
TOTALLY different way of life and thinking than we have here.
I was looking through my friend's yearbook from Wyoming. They had a pic of the Senior parking lot - many of the trucks had gunracks with guns in them! PArked at school! Here, you are not allowed within 100 yards of a school with a gun (or something like that...)
Totally different. We can't judge them.

There's some question as to whether this is a hoax.
Some wonder whether an 11 yr old could even handle the recoil of a .50 caliber pistol.

I also think it's very sad that the boar was killed --- and by an 11 year old boy. I do't know who would want to teach an 11 year old to use a gun. That in itself is sad to me...
But I just have to ask....
If you were in the woods and you saw this thing, what would you do?
I would PASS out! I don't know how an 11 year old boy would keep it together to kill it. I'd totally not be able to keep my cool.
One of the girls today was saying....a chipmunk, OK, a squirrel, sure, a deer, how cute, but a 1000lb wild BOAR?!?!?!
