thawed BM and middle of the night feeding??
If I thaw BM and bring the bottle up to bed does it need to be in a cooler bag with an ice pack?

I agree. If it was freshly pumped you would have a few hours to leave it out a room temperature but since it was frozen and thawed, I think you have to use it right away.

I would just thaw it until it isn't frozen ( meaning don't make it warm ) and then leave it out so it reaches room temperature and you can use it then.
BM is amazing, I take a bottle out of the fridge at 8PM when she goes to bed, and give it to her at 8AM when she wakes up (I take it out in case she wakes up in the middle of the night). I smell it first and it has always been fine
