The 8 teens who beat up the one girl in FL
They are all being charged as adults. 3 of them are being charged with kidnapping, battery and evidence tampering.
The defense is pushing for jail time and want them to pay for wha they did. According to all the legal specialists they said at least one person will serve a jail time.
The parents of the 8 are all saying that charging them as adults is ridiculous, they are blaming the victim, and one father said I believe my kid and the witnesses. (oh yea the video tape is just lying)
They were all brought into court yesterday handcuffed and crying.

These girls are nothing but trash and their parents should be ashamed of them- not defending them!
If I had EVER done anything like this as a kid- my parents would have disowned me.
This is the problem- the parents are condoning this behavior by taking their side and BLAMING THE VICTIM!!!

The house where they did the beating, they are getting threatening phone calls and letters. One person left a message on the answering machine that said I hope they get stabbed in prison.
So the 8 are blaming the victim for everything they are going through. And that if she didnt make those comments on MySpace none of this would have happened. 
One of the mothers of the 8 is pushing for MySpace to get shut down.
Talk about hearing everything
ETA: It's absolutely disgusting. I am glad they are getting charged as adults. They are all under 18 and if they get charged as minors their is a slight chance their records could be sealed at 18 or 21. So trying them as adults I think is a good thing and something that will stay with them. Their charges are a felony.

But I guess t would be OK for them to post the video on YOUTUBE like they wanted! But having it all over the news is not OK. Because now there little fun and games tunred into a crime against them!
IDIOTS! They should ALL be charged as adults.

i wish there was a better way for you tube and myspace to monitor the videos that are put up there. They wanted to seem "cool' by posting a video of them beating up this girl. If there was no way this could ever getposted online, then maybe it wouldnt have happened????

I just saw this on the news. I hope all 8 of them sit behind bars for a very long time. What they did is non excusable! It's disgusting!
I hope they too, get beat in prison...Morons! The parents are bigger morons! My parents would have thrown me in the street if I ever pulled anything like that.

I totally agree. And where on EARTH would these kids get the idea that it's OKAY to do this.
Watching that video just infuriates me. I can honestly say that I don't know what I would be capable of doing if that were my daughter. I would probably be the one getting arrested.
And if that was my daughter who did that (I pray that I am never in such a predicament), she would be so lucky to go to jail and not have to deal with my wrath.

Not so tough now are they.
I am glad they are being charged as adults. They need to be taught a lesson. There is this sweeping epidemic of people who think they can explain away bad behaviours, or blame someone else. It is disgusting IMO.
