the battle of the AC
My DH is like a polar bear and loves the condo to be super cold....
I hate it...
I don't like to be in steam box or a freezer...
So we are constantly battling for the AC
anyone else

Yes, my DH has to have the AC on all the time. I am constantly turning it off.
I also have to sleep with a comforter. That's how cold our bedroom is...brrrrr

uggggggghhhh..same with my dh..
We constantly have battles...I raise it / he lowers it...Than in the middle of the night, I am the one freezing my a$$ off with no covers...he hogs them all!!
Our bill was $200..(which is VERY high to me)

Yup... us too... I can't take it anymore!!!
I am always cold as is and then we it makes our co-op like an ice box.. I want to kill him!
Most of our fights are over this.. If you can believe this one he also keeps the AC on during the winter....

Same thing with us. I tell you we live in an igloo. But I've given up the battle and I just dress warmly inside the house. I go outside to warm up every now and then. They say this has been a very hot summer... I wouldn't know!

I've accepted the igloo. I just dress warmer. DH makes fun because I wear long pants and long sleeves to be instead of silky satiny stuff but I told him, it's his choice - either keep it at a normal temp or I wear flanel

Our problem is that we try to save money by using the AC minimally. I get hot faster than DH. (for anyone who has met Brad, you know he is SO skinny - there's no fat to insulate the heat). I always say that we need to AC on much sooner than he does.

Oooh I LOVE it cold. He doesn't. He wont let me make it colder and if I get out of bed to make it colder he wakes up and won't let me do it 
Sooo....we bought a new a/c and he didn't know if had a remote with it!!
Now, he goes to sleep and I reach into the night table drawer, pull out the remote and *presto*...down goes the a/c!! 
he doesn't know why he keeps waking up cold

I need it to be artic. i hate being hot, but DH is used to it since he works in a hot shop all day.

DH and I battle it out all of the time over the temperature of the AC. I like it cold (especially to sleep) and he likes it medium...the temperature is constantly back and forth

My dh LOVES the a/c-
when I complain that I am cold he always tells me to "put something on" its not like I run around butt naked
I like to have all the windows open and fresh air in the house

I love AC! Dh hates it...this morning he informed me that he almost froze to death last night -- this is with two blankets. I on the other hand got a great nights sleep

He likes the ac to the max but then when It starts to get too cold , I lower it. i get cold very easily.

Same here... however, I occassionally lower the A/C when he's not looking, and play dumb when he complains...

HE turns it up, I turn it down...This happens every night...and he lays right next do the AC!!!
I gotta see what happens when we live together..this should be a brawl waiting to happen.
In work, it's the same thing-Steve turns it down to 63, Curtis turns it up to 72...and they do it all DAY LONG..I sit right in front of it and i watch them, it's pretty funny.

we pretty much agree on having it cool. he sometimes goes overboard, putting it on like 60.
i feel guilty leaving it on tho, because of the electricity. especially being home during the day!

my sister and her husband battle all the time. She likes the AC and for it to be cold.. he likes the windows open and a nice breeze.. She wins the battles lately since she is PREGNANT and he really doesnt have a choice!!
