I've been meaning to respond to this.
The cinnamon scones (anything really) from Robinson's Tea Room in Stony Brook!
The rigatoni all vodka from this hole in the wall pizza place called Mulberry's in Bay Shore.
Anything from New Chili and Curry in Hicksville - fantastic Indian food!
Not sure if it's still there but many years ago there was this place called Blue Tortilla in Selden (like Green Cactus) that had an amazing Fajita Burrito.
Also many years ago - the Black Bean burger at Milk and Sugar.
The city list is sort of a whole different animal to me - lots more favorite places there!

I actually meant to edit mine above and add Peter Luger's steak and "bacon" too. Thanks for reminding me. That Schlag is good too! But I am usually too full by then.

I love this thread even though I live in NJ, so I'm not local... But would kill to have a Beef Patty and Coco Bread, I never new this was a Queens thing.
this is a Jamacian thing, I am sure there are spots in NJ to get it!
My DH buys the big box of frozen beef patties at BJ's
Haven't been there in years but the patty shop on Jamaica Ave has the best patties w/coco bread.
