Uuum, there is a chrous in English in that song and it goes, "I wanna wish you a MERRY CHRISTMAS." 
ETA: I want to come to story time soon.
She took creative license with that - she sang "I want to wish you amerry christmas... I want to wish you a happy hannukah..."

When the lady they hired today to sing holiday songs for all the kids went into a whole spiel on celebrating Hannukah (after, dressed in Christmas garb, sang Jingle bells, Frosty the snowman, etc)
she pulled out a grandma puppet, a Grandpa puppet, an Aunt Shirley puppet who was cooking all day...
Kids volunteered to hold the puppets as they geared up to sing a Hannukah tune...
I was getting pretty stoked myself - what will it be? Dreidel Dreidel? Oh Hannukah Oh Hannukah?
Nope - it was neither.
Apparently, "Feliz Navidad" must have struck her as a Hannukah tune....
Maybe because it wasn't in English???? 
PIMP!!

Her voice is still singing in my head...LMAO. She was good and we had a GREAT time...But...
I was definitley ready for "Dreidel, Dreidel"..NOT Feliz Navidad!
We do celebrate Christmas, but, come on, even *I* knew that Feliz Navidad is not a Hannukah Song!!
