wow...out of line much? I cant believe she had the nerve to call you and tell you not to name your child that...and that she asked HER friends what they thought and they all hated it 
Personally, I love the name. I think its unique and very pretty. But even if I didnt...it doesnt matter. Its not MY child.
Good for you for sticking to the name you love even though others are being rude and outspoken about it!

Not that it matters but I think its a beautiful name!
I made the mistake of telling people what I want and for the most part I got good reactions except for a few and of course the main one being my MIL! All because the initials would be BB
and its not a name she knows!
I've had the named picked since I was 12...still love it and want it so unless my dh comes up with something we both love my little girl will be Brianna
and yes her initials will be BB
(don't know middle name yet) Originally I always wanted Brianna June but my SIL killed that...you really wanna name a little girl BJ....only my SIL could think of something like that but of course now that she said it I kills it for me!

What? I really don't see anything remotely wrong with the name Siena Jordyn. I love it. Beautiful name!
Geez...you'd think you were calling her Purple People Eater the way she reacted.  I'm glad she apologized and realized she was wrong.

What?? If you were naming your child sh!thead, I could see the need for the call. Once the baby is here, it'll be her name - period. Forget about the rest of them - Siena Jordyn is a beautiful name. Tell your sister she's lucky her niece isn't Apple Martin or Inspektor Pilot Lee

Your sister is way out of line. I agree with most everyone here - if you were naming your child something that no one ever even heard of, she *might* get away with mentioning it. But Sienna and Jordyn are both beautiful and certainly not unheard of (not that it matters) Name your baby what you want to, when she's here no one will even remember they objected.

LOVE that name! btw. same thing happened to me when i told eveyone i was naming my son Logan. I got alot of stares and no comments. My mil told me "yuck". I still named my son Logan and now Everyone i know loves it. Even my mil said "you know he really does look like a logan, im sorry i ever said anything". So you may be surprised, people will come to love the name, and if they dont, who cares.

i this the name is beautiful, and i am very sorry the sis ter is giving you such a hard time. Maybe you can give her a little reminder that this is your baby and not hers. And you will choice whatever name you want.
I just hate when people tell someone ooo i dont like that name. its none of there business, do they realize how much thought and consideration moms but into naming there baby

My friend did this. It drove me insane bc I am babyname crazed lol but I think it i a great idea...you do not need everyone's 2 cents
ETA: I love the name Siena....I went to Siena College lol
