I'm not going to lie...it IS hard. And it takes time. But once you start making little changes it gets easier to build from there. If you need a 'pep talk' or more specific tips or advice, I'd be happy to help

Steph I got teary reading this because I am just so proud of you and what you've done with your life, and your health, in such a short amount of time. I got to 'know' you on the pregnancy board and I think the world of you -- so seeing you so happy with yourself and your beautiful family just makes ME so happy It sounds like a cliche but you are so motivational and inspirational!!

wow how amazing!! Weight is something I have always struggled with (Still do!). I come from an overweight family (my mom also lost about 90 lbs when I got engaged). It's sooooo hard...and I really applaud you for setting an amazing example for your child. And you look amazing!!!! Congrats!

Yes! that is at Atlas. Ummm...why would they put the sprinklers on with all those kids running around in chilly weather? And, why is my child the only one who wanted to go in it? 
I am a Queens mommy but I work out in Manhattan. I run on Sundays sometimes at Juniper park, but I got o other places too like Flushing meadow Park, College Point, I'll go anywhere!

Congrats !! on your new life you look beautiful and most important you must feel so good on the inside. I totally understand I was a personal trainer for years I had my children and I now need to lose 10-15lbs not alot but It is killing me after living a such a healthy lifestyle and now I have to loose weight you just motivated me thank you!!

Steph you are amazing and such an inspiration to us all 
I am so glad that I have gotten to know you on the diet & fitness board!!!! You are such a great and positive resource on there, especially for all the moms. It's hard enough to do it on your own, but when you have a child to take care of as well I can't even imagine!!! I can only hope one day I will be a hot mom like you!!!!!

With tears in my eyes I applaud your perseverance and commitment to getting healthy! I have battled my weight for my entire life and now, 4 weeks PP, am faced with a body that has changed more than I care to admit and weighing more than I ever have in my entire life... Not a place where I want to be. Your story is truly motivating and an inspiration to me as a new mom and as a forever plus sized woman. I am not at the point of getting on the healthy eating/exercise bandwagon as of yet, but I plan to do so very soon and will use your story to help me get started. Thank you so much for sharing your amazing journey with us. I am forever grateful.

Thank you so much for sharing - that is so much what this board is about, isn't it? Nine weeks post-partum, I definitely will adopt your techniques into my own life. I am unhappy at a size 10, but I had been hospitalized twice pp for blood pressurre, and need to weigh less.
