I have tried WW and failed (well, I lost 15lbs, but then didn't stick to the plan). I found that although DH was supportive of my trying...having meals/portions was always a hassle and I would give up. Any tips?

No, Mike doesn't do it with me. He lost about 15 lbs, though The only thing that rubbed off on him is the addiction to hiking. Now we hike as a family all the time. We all love it!
I get lots of 'pre-portioned' things. The chicken cutlets that are individually wrapped, the microwavable steam veggies (go to Walmart they are so much cheaper and I eat sometimes 3 bags/boxes a day). I only make brown rice, so DH is stuck eating that. If he wants flavored or something, he makes it himself
If I do get larger packages of things, I freeze individual pieces as opposed to 3 or 4 in one package. So, I pre-measure my meat before I freeze it. If I make a thing of rice, I put it in ziploc containers that are pre-measured. And just take as I need.
I avoided buying my lunch for a long time. Because then I would make really bad choices. So untilI got more comfortable, I avoided potentially dangerous situations.

Can you please tell me what a typical day of meal looks like for you?? I am so willing to try. What do you suggest for breakfast?
For breakfast I usually have Oatmeal. I used to have the instant, but the Quaker 1 minute oatmeal takes just as long and you get more for your serving and it just tastes better, IMO. This morning I added peanut butter to it...soooo delish
then for mid-morning snack I had a yogurt. 2%. I never have fat free because the fat keeps you fuller longer.
lunch i had a salad. I used about 5 oz of chicken and put a bunch of goodies in it...cheese (1 oz), olives, tomatoes, peas, corn. And fat free dressing. Or usually I just do balsamic vinegar or red wine vinegar.
mid-day snack: apple.
dinner - 4 oz grilled chicken and a bag of steamed asparagus.
Some other breakfast things I have: Fiber one cereal (the original) with 1 cup of strawberries. Or some kind of fruit.
mid-morning snack ideas: apple with peanut butter, luna bar, yogurt, etc.
lunch ideas: soup (lentil is good and filling, no creamy soups); salad, sandwich with grilled chicken or roasted turkey on dark bread.
I keep it really simple. things that are easy and quick to make. It's nice to say egg white omlette with toast or whatever else, but let's face it...we're not going to make that every single day.

Steph I got teary reading this because I am just so proud of you and what you've done with your life, and your health, in such a short amount of time. I got to 'know' you on the pregnancy board and I think the world of you -- so seeing you so happy with yourself and your beautiful family just makes ME so happy It sounds like a cliche but you are so motivational and inspirational!!
So thank you so much for sharing your story with the Moms here -- I know that not only have you inspired me, you have inspired many others as well! 
PS: you were always a gorgeous person IMO but after seeing the recent pics of you in all your Size 6 gorgeousness, well you are most definitely a knockout now . wowza
