What an amazing interview!
I was almost in tears at the end when Kevin Finnerty said that his son's life is forever changed - in a time when one can google a name- imagine the results that will come up 
I thought the parents were GREAT. I have a lot of respect and admiration for them.

I never thought they were guilty...I think it is interesting now that charges are being dropped left and right.
What stinks is that these young men will never be the same! Their lives are ruined.

ITA I was amazed that the examiner left out the part about 4 other mens semen being found on the girls undies and anus. that made me ill.

You're absolutely right. It is a terrible shame. I feel bad for the accusser because she obviously has some terrbile issues of her own. Nifong is an absolute horrible being and deserves to rot in hell for what he has done to all of them.

I watched it last night
when are the going to drop the charges already!
but like they said this is going to follow them forever- Duke should have taken their side from the begining
I don't blame the parents for not wanting to send them back there- I think that's the best idea
I hope the DA gets fired, disbared and put in jail for what he did- not disclosing the fact that she had 4 other guys DNA inside her underware
I never thought they were guilty!

I would be absolutely heartbroken if my son had to endure something like this at that age.
Like Reade Seligmann's mother said "Every mother of a son should be absolutely terrified" and she's right.

Wow! Just finished watching the video you posted. Disgusting. Absolutely disgusting. I can't imagine how someone could proceed with a case after having that DNA evidence of four other men!
I can't wait until these boys & their parents file the law suit. There are some serious damages to be paid.
This is so reminscent of the Tawana Brawley case.

I wouldn't even want to send my son to Duke!
not that this is great- but at most other big name universities they keep this stuff quiet- if a football player does something etc. b/c it makes the school look so bad- but they hung these kids out to dry

this case was chaotic right from the beginning - those boys are forever changed and girls like the accuser really hurt the chances of real victims being taken seriously

Me neither. Not that this can't happen other places - but the law enforecement down there scares me.
And you're right. I've heard of a couple of cases - one at Harvard that was real hush hush.

I totaly agree that they jumped the gun i was just stating their reasons for it -
dh played div 1 lax also and they got themselves into trouble too - and many times they got in trouble by the coach bc of the school telling on them
i definitely think the whole situation was ridiculous

Why do you think the woman in the case said it happened? The fact that there were 4 men's DNA in her still leaves an open quesiton as to what really happened. NOT saying the Duke guys were in involved here.
Do you think she was raped by someone else? Do you think it was consensual & she's emotionally disturbed?
