Kelly, how come it looks like this storm is taking about the same track in between Montauk and 40/70 benchmark, but this time we are only getting a little snow and a little ice, but mostly rain when last time we got a lot of snow?

It is above freezing, so it is too warm for snow.

Christina is right. The air aloft is too warm. The benchmark is only a guideline with snowstorms. There are always exceptions.
