Anywhere public!
There was a popular video at Disney going around a while back where all the staff was involved & one recently where a guy made a film & propsed a the movie theatre, stuff like that makes me cringe. Not only would I not want to be proposed to that way, I don't want to be there for someone else being proposed to that way.
That, and those proposals spray painted on a overpass on a parkway!

DH proposed to me at 11:30 at night in our living room in the middle of a game of Rock Band, lol. I would've liked for it to have been a bit more planned out, but hey, at least he did it!

My BIL proposed to my sister in Starbucks. They went on their first date there so he thought it would be cute to propose to her there. I thought it was a great idea.

I know someone who accidentally proposed to his gf.... I swear
He bought her what he thought was a nice ring set (engagment & wedding band) and gave it to her. She was confused he didnt say anything when giving it to her but she put it on her hand and figured they were engaged... he had to break it to her a few days later when he FINALLY realized that she thought they were engaged. (not the sharpest knife in the drawer).
they are actually engaged now (that was a few years ago) and he just used the ring he originally gave her.
Its a bizzare story
ETA: I realize this has nothing to do with a place, but I had to share!

My bff's fiance proposed to her in the bathroom of a gas station. Apparently this is where they first kissed (drunk after a day at the Boardy Barn). Def not my kind of proposal
