my DH proposed to me
in the driveway of my parent's house,
at night time,
with a talking teddybear that he recorded his proposal on.
very weird.......but very cute. right up my ally. 
eta: I don't think there's really a worst place to pop the question.....except maybe at someone else's event.

My BIL proposed to my sister in Starbucks. They went on their first date there so he thought it would be cute to propose to her there. I thought it was a great idea.
I may have witnessed this! Well, I witnessed someone getting proposed to at Starbucks one night.

I saw someone propose at a Mets game sitting right in front of me. He didn't put her name on the big screen, no annoucement. It wasn't during some pivotal moment in the game, after the game, or during the 7th inning stretch. He just randomly got down on one knee in the middle of the game.
I wouldn't say it's the worst, but I thought it was odd and could have been more planned out.
This is how my dh proposed . It was amazing .
I think there is too much judging. Everyone has their own special proposals no matter how and where it was done

My parents went to a wedding where the sister of the bride was proposed to by her boyfriend. Got on the mike and did it in front of everyone. The bride was so mad....I would've been too!
Easy fix - announce your prego at their wedding!

I wasn't trying to judge anyone, it was just a silly post to see if maybe anyone heard any crazy stories about proposals, not to make fun of the way anyone was proposed to. Sorry if you felt judged, that was not my intention at all.

I know someone who put a camera in a cop car (he was not a cop, his friend was) and had his then GF pulled over. The cop made gave her a hard time, and made her get out of the car. At some point he came out and proposed.
This is a classic "to each their own" example, she loved the proposal and played the video at the wedding. I just turned to FH and said "don't you dare."

Whats funny about this is that for ME that would have been romantic, lol!! DH wanted to propose there actually...reason being is that Penn Station was the place we met when we were friends..before we started really dating.
He would take NJ transit to Penn and I would meet him there at Charley O's (which isn't there anymore). We would grab a drink and head somewhere else...but we would always be on the lookout for one another and he would hide sometimes until I found him..
Sounds cheesy and dumb but Penn station has great memories of those beginning days for me. (minus the smell of urine in the summer months lol)
So i guess anywhere could really work if it means something to a couple!
(oh and he proposed outside the apartment we just rented together lol)
